Geez, I must be missing something on the Adsense documentation, but it seems that when I try to display 2 add units on the same page, the second one just doen not display. Can it be because my page do not have lots of contents? I guess the answer is obvious to most of you, but it seems i'm missing something here...
Thanks!
Beleive it or not I was just searching for this problem....it has happened to me today..I have been racking my brain for the last 6 hours trying to figure it out.
I am using the same coded template as my other sites that are on the same hosting server and still can only display 1 ad at a time...If I name it index.php it will work but if I name it anything else...or put it under another directory only one ad will show up...very weird
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Jeff
I have seen fresh pages where only one ad displays in a banner that has room for 4 ads. a few days later though it was full of on target ads.
Personaly, though, I tend to only have one ad unit per page because I think that having a lot of ads looks tacky. I do have one page with an adsense block and an adlinks block, but that was because the adsense wasnt always targeting quite right.
I keep em both there because the AS block works right often enough to account for two thirds of the pages earnings.
Better to load the page with one ad than to delay the page itself for lack of an ad.
There may be more to it than that, but that's what they told me.
