Hi,

They defenitely overlap yet totals don't match?
Any ideas why?

If your URL channels overlap, then statistics are counted twice. For example, if you have 2 URL channels -

www.domain.com
www.domain.com/a.txt

then any impression on a.txt will be counted on both channels. Perhaps that's why you are seeing different totals?

Cheers,

Shure they do not match.

If Your page is displayed in the MSN or Google cache,
coded channel is counted, URL channel is not counted

Some of the html files in a directory might not have a "channel id number" in the Adsense script. They might have only the standard adsense code, so earnings would appear in the URL totals, but not the Channel totals.

Hi,
Thank you all for the replies.
None of the scenarios seem to apply to my case.
Numbers just don't seem to add up.
The following numbers are imaginery but hold true in principal.

Aggregate data for yesterday:
10 clicks total $10

url channels
10 clicks total $10

custom channels
10 clicks total $9.99

and yesterday the difference was more than 1 cent.
