I just registered with AdSense. I get about a 1000 page views a day on my site, and I made $3.75 in the first 24 hours.
That's not bad for starting out. Weekends are my quietest period, and my site is seasonal (it is off season now)
Given more frequent updates, and adding of info I am sure I can push this value to $20 a day. But it's still early days.
Depending on what your site is about and how you manage all the variable factors like ad placement and formating Adsense can be an exciting and or frustrating ride.
You'll see a lot of tips here on how to maximize your earnings. Probably the most important of which is that NONE of them work for everyone. What works great for one site can be a dismal failure on another.
You really have to experiment to see what works best on your site.
