AdLinks decreased my revenues.

Around 10 days ago I mustered enouch courage and finally put AdLinks on my site in addition to the one small ad block present. After those 10 days, I found that a small percentage of my earnings was due to the AdLinks (I set a separate channel for it). But the porblem was that my earnings dropped significantly as I put AdLinks.

I held myslef from removing AdLinks despite the strong urge to remove them right away, but now after 10 days I know they are not for me. I am sure other sites would find AdLinks to boost their income, but not in my site. Perhaps sites that are full of ads with no space in the page could benefit from AdLinks, but a site like mine with only a small AdBlock and no crowded pages just lost much more than it gained from AdLiniks. The reason why I'm saying this here is just for others to benefit.

Did You consider weather conditions, holydays and other factors influencing income?

Last week holiday on Thursday, making
Wednesday down to a Friday,
Firday working like a Sunday.

This week Friday preaparing for a long weekend because Monday is again holiday.

Here in Austria and Germany, also the end of a long cold weather period.

Do keep in mind that May 5 is when Google totally screwed things up and a lot of people lost up to 50% of their regular income. I managed to actually make more somehow, maybe it's because I never tried to tweak anything, nor chase any high paying kewords (my average is 20 cents per click).
As far as AdLinks go - they now make about 50% of my Adsense income.
I bet that AdLinks isn't the culprit - it's Google changes that took place right around that time.

Yes, it was the exact same day I put AdLinks in that Google did the funny spin, or let's say slow down. I'll wait a while with AdLinks removed now and see if my stats will catch up (aka earnings). I'll keep you informed by then if they do go up after removing the AdLinks or stay the same.

This month AdLinks is making up about 1/3 of my income. Adding AdLinks did decrease my other AdSense placement earnings, but only by about 10%, so overall AdLinks is a winner for me.
