Skyscraper or Leaderboard at bottom of the page?

What would have the higher CTR?

i've heard leaderboards across the top of a page result in the highest CTR's; but what about leaderboards on the bottom of the page vs. a skyscraper? has anyone tested this already?

Hmm, I think the issue is really where will it stand out the most. A minority of people will scroll to the bottom of the page, so they'd be more likely to see the tower ad then the bottom leaderboard.

Skyscraper on the right side is the best option by far for *most* websites. It should be directly to the right of the content and preferrably by the scroll bar.

The factors involved in making a sky better than a leaderboard:

Sky is almost always on the page while leaderboards can be scrolled past.

Ads to the right of the text are good because the text naturally leads to the ads.

Ads next to the scroll bar will have users pass the cursor over them frequently.

I'm liking the leaderboard best right now. I'm going to try a couple of other experiments but it seems to be performing the best for me so far.
