what's happening with choosing/blocking sites with Adwords?

have been out of circulation a while and just wanted to know what's happening as far as whitelisting and blacklisting sites on Adwords to show on Adsense publishers' sites.

this was first mentioned a month ago...or a little less.

I thought it would be possible for Adwords advertisers to specifically enter a list of URL's of site they wanted their ads to appear on, yet I only see mention of blacklisting sites.

has the tool to allow advertisers to specify which sites they advertise on been shelved?

I think the whitelisting refers to "site-targeted" CPM ads, where advertisers pick the domains where they want their ads to run.

Yes it is available, but there is a limit of just 25 sites you can block, and you need to know (or find out) the url of the site you want to block -- google doesn't give you a list of sites to choose from.

No word so far on if publishers wil be given some means to find out if they have been culled by advertisers.

So the site-blocking is underway now?

So what about what EFV is mentioning...the ability to actually choose sites where your ads appear. Is that available now or not? That was being spoken about three or four weeks ago and things have gone quiet.....

"Site-targeted" CPM ads have been announced, but they haven't actually been rolled out yet. Here's the official word from Google:

Yes it has been available for about a week - many who are using it are comlaining that a limit of 25 isn't adequate.

The CPM thing is still being tested I believe

Beats me, but I'd assume that implementation wouldn't be too far off now that it's been publicly announced.
