Will google ban for a high CTR?

I'm just curious I started using adsense 10 days ago and have been at a steady pretty high CTR average. My traffic is directly targeted to the surfer. Just kind of worried that because the CTR is pretty high I won't get paid however it has been consistant since i started and i never click my own ads. What kind of CTR averages are you guys getting with adsense?

No need to worry...from my experience and many others...high CTR is not a red flag so long it is consistent over a fairly long period of time. Let's say you were getting an average CTR of 6% over the course of a month. I'd imagine that if that CTR suddenly jumped to 20% for a couple of days, that may send "red flags". Another thing to consider though is that sites with a low number of impressions will have much greater variations in terms of CTR and earnings than sites with thousands of impressions per day.

Thanks dave....i hope it goes ok, just hearing all these people getting their accounts cancelled gets me kind of worried. We'll see how it goes I guess...

It is kind of worrisome that some people are suddenly having their accounts closed. However, we are only hearing their side of the story. Best advice...keep above board, don't click on your own ads AND don't encourage your visitors to click on your ads either.
