I have found 4 days so far with differences in clicks and earnings when i add up url channel reports in a specific custom channel.

For example I have 3 url channels all in one custom channel. url channels add up to x amount of clicks, y earnings. custom channel shows x amount of clicks z earnings.

Anybody else see this going on?

Jahfingers,

You know that URL channels can be overlapping? like if you have 2 channels -

www.domain.com
and
www.domain.com/something

then any imp/click/rev on something will count on both URLs. Perhaps you have some overlapping URL channels?

We have 3 separate sites tracked by the main URL:

w ww.site1.com
ww w.site2.com
w ww.site3.com

The total for the 3 channels for April is $24 less than the aggregate total.

As I type this it occurs to me that maybe it doesn't include statistics if someone just types in domain1.com without the www.?

Any ideas? It's kind of important because we share revenue with partners on one of the sites and I want to be straight up with them.

mertero, I know that url channels can overlap. this is why i have each url channel tracking specific pages, not directories or subdomains.

Tropical Island, I would try switching to site1.com without the www. but both should track anything in the root directory.

Perhaps you've missed a page and not created a channel for it?

It's a site with only 3 pages with adsense, so I didn't miss one.

Clicks add up fine, just revenue differences. How can x = y and
x = z
