Indexing faster?

Is being in AdSense getting you indexed faster?

It took around two months for google to show an updated index of our sites, about 28 days 'til they came through again to index, and then another 28 days to update their index. I have noticed this past week that a page we added less than a week ago (which also includes adsense ads) is now already in google's index. The google bot for adsense is also updating the index? Possibly so, or is indexing just getting faster for everyone, irrespective of a page showing adsense ads.

Google will tell you that adsense makes no difference to how soon you get indexed.

However...

  • Every site with Adsense code gets spidered by the Mediapartners Googlebot.
  • I have seen sites appear in the main index where the only spidering has been from the Mediapartners Googlebot.

I'm sure they will have to get faster as others get faster. BTW - anyone else notice that the link to AdSense [google.com...] just takes you to the homepege?

Yes, since installing the Adsense code, my sites have been getting spidered every couple of days. Page updates are getting into the index within 2-3 days, where it used to take 2-3 weeks or more.

    That's only a new Google's spidering pattern.

I have sites in spanish with good PageRank spidered every two days (the very deep levels are spidered once a month).

Obviously, I get no the adsense code into my spanish websites.

I see my sites getting spidered a lot by Google, but it doesn't seem to have helped my indexing. I see pages get indexed, and then just drop out. One recent, new site, has 30 pages of content, of which Google had indexed 26 and had them in search results. Now, I am down to just 14 pages that are indexed :( Not surprisingly, my Google referred traffic is down by about half as a result...

Need3lives - Just curious how are your AdSense stats doing(without specifics)?
