Is it possible, or shall I say within the TOS that when someone clicks an ad that they are given a new window? I dont really want to loose my visitors when they click an ad...

No it's not possible, unless your users right click and open it in a new window.

Then you shouldn't use advertising..

Somehow I knew I'd get a response like that.

What I was wanting to say is that if they didnt find what they wanted there, they could click yet another ad on my site.

I found this under Google AdSense Program Policies at [google.com...]

Clicks on Google ads must not result in a new browser window being launched.

Yet when I read the terms and conditions, I didn't see it spelled out explicitly there, although it says you must adhere to the Program Policies. I thought it was explicitly stated in the terms and conditions before, but maybe I'm wrong. Either way, it's against their rules and it makes sense why that is.

You could use the Adsense "Search" instead. It does allow ads to open in another window. However, in my case it hasn't been nearly effective as regular adsense ads. But, it might be what you are looking for.
