2 Websites, CTR and CPM

I have 2 websites, using the same adsense account.

My main website has a lot of Ad Unit Impression, but low CTR and CPM.

My second site has a low Ad Unit Impression but large CTR and CPM.

A couple of questions.

My earnining from my second website are small, but seems to have a large CPM and CTR (Double digits) some days, is my first site affecting my earning?

Does maximizing CTR and CPM mean that I will earn more if Ad Unit Impression are decreased or have I lost the plot?

Should I switch off adsense on my first site, will that increase or decrease my earnings.

Sorry for the dumb questions, I am relatively new to Adsense I have read the info on google, but doesn't explain it clearly for me.

There is no correlation between the earnings of the two sites.

Some sites that I have perform well with Adsense and others do extremely well.

My advice is to just keep building more sites ;)

I have 7 sites running Adsense and I can tell you the numbers are all over the place.
