Well this sucks....

***************

During the beta period, we've placed a limit
on the monthly amount that we will pay any single publisher by EFT. We've placed this limit given that the bank control review process imposed on bank transfers of high dollar amounts is stricter and increases the likelihood of payment delays and/or failures.

markus007, do you have any idea on which amount they placed the limit?

I haven't got a clue what the limit it is, it could probably vary by country and bank.

You get an email if you are over the limit.

Argh.

Email doesn't say what the cap is on the EFT.

Hi,

AFAIK, in the UK, any transfers of GBP10,000 or above are subject to inspection and/or report to the police (the CIS).

I *think* that the corresponding amount in the US is USD10,000, but am not confident and I'm sure that milage will vary.

So I guess that a payment from Google in the US to me in the UK would be caught by the lower (USD) threshold first. But I'm a looooooooooong way from that being an issue for me, regrettably!

Yes. They said they are going to send me a check by UPS and the cost for this service will be returned to me in the next month's calculation. Now, my main concern is whether they are going to send me such check in local (EURO) currency or in USD. I'm from Italy. They answered me this morning that they are going to find out what's the final answer.

Translation: I would much rather make $500 a month and be able to get EFT than make $15,000 a month and not be able to get EFT. I need help.

That's like...

"I'm glad I'm not rich or I'd pay a lot more in taxes!"

;)
