I went to a very popular celebrity exchange website, they wrote "our sponsors" on top of their google ads. Is this allowed?

This is from Google:

"Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads."

OK. Lets say someone chooses "advertisements" but
mis-spells it "advertisments", or capitalizes the first
letter to "Advertisements". Will that get him in trouble?

The worst thing that would happen is Google will tell you to fix it.
