Adsense cheque arrived - from Sweden!

What on earth is that all about? It used to come from the US, but today's arrival was postmarked Malmo, Sweden.

I've been going round today driving the kids mad by saying Google with a pronounced upward inflection on the second sylable :)

Hi,

Nearly threw out my Google cheque too thinking that it was junk. Do look carefully!

(Bizarre: never had any particular interaction with Sweden before except listening to Abba, then I take a short holiday in Malmo and it's everywhere!)

I've scanned my Google AdSense envelopes old and new and posted them on my site so that other people know what to look out for.

Mainly look out for a slightly bigger (C5) white envelope with one window (not two) and the red postmark containing "PP Sweden" in the top right-hand corner.

I live in Europe and my cheques are usually sent from New York. In one of previous threads guy from Brooklyn said that he receives his cheques from Jacksonville. I think that it's much simpler this way ;-)

I live in the UK and mines arrived from Sweeden this morning. With a completely different look as well. The sweedish prefer green im guessing...

I don't think this is only with Google. Same day than the check I received a set of wristbands from the Lance Armstrong Foundation (originally sent from Austin TX) and it was postmarked Malmo, Sweden too (same P.O. Box 5001 SE-202 26).

I'm the same and I recently changed to payment in euro. Might this be the cause?

I assume you mean perforation?

If so it was but I had to get a magnifying glass to ascertain whether it was above or below the green line which had a watermark statement on it.

Once folded and using a letter knife it tore off cleanly...the things we go through eh?
