I'm having a great day!

Earnings are down though.

Just went skiing and lost my brand new Konica Minolta Z-3 out of my backpack.:( Got home an hour later and there was a message from Kirkwood's lost and found saying someone had turned it in.:)
Was wondering about why folks all around me received their check but I hadn't.:( Then there was a knock at the door. It was a beautiful woman who is my new neighbor. She felt bad because she opened some mail of mine that was in her box and it was my check. :)
Sadly, she had a baby with her so I think she's taken. On the brighter side however, the girl at Kirkwood's lost and found desk was right up there too. I'm off to there now to see if I can hit a trifecta.
Just had to share.
I don't even care that my earnings aren't there.

Who cares?
Nobody, but it does relate to the new envelopes. She assumed it was bulk something, and opened it without looking at the name. She only brought it over because she found the check inside.
Now she thinks I work for Google.

Good point, powdork.

My landlord ripped mine open too, and didn't give it to me for 2 days (same mail box). She has seen all my older checks, and knows what a check from G looks like.

Yeah, I think the new envelope IS an issue - it looks A LOT like spam mail!

Sounds to me like there's a lot of federal mail tampering going on, call the postmaster general :)

I don't care WHAT the envelope looks like, the NAME is plainly printed in the little window, are people oblivious to the fact that the postman might make a mistake?

I live in a condo with 12 units and our mailman is very 'loose' with his interpretation of delivering the mail so we're always getting junk from other people and my greatest fear is my check will end up discarded in someone else's trash which is why I signed up for EFT without thinking twice about it.

My DH picked it up at the post office. He usually throws mail that looks like trash in the garbage right at the post office. He almost tossed it but luckily opened it first to be sure it was junk mail.
