Quite by coincidence. My main widget directory site had been running Adsense for a couple of months and I suggested it to my best mate who runs a great semi professional hobby site.
Anyway, he applied and they refused him the account since I was the original registered domain name holder.
I applied on his behalf and they granted it immediately. The cheque numbers are always consecutive and both always arrive on the same day.
I seem to remember at the time that totally different types of business or something required separate accounts however I wouldn't swear to it, of course it's all changed since then.
