Just a note to see if anyone is experiencing similar. In the last 48 hours or so the ads on my site have switched from being perfectly targetted on each page as 'Subject A-G' to suddenly being all 'Subject A', making them meaningless to any of my traffic other than those Subject A types.

I can temporarily force them to be on the point by adding a query string?subect B, so the ads are still there.. Just there seems to have been a switch somewhere to a 'site category' match instead of a 'page category' match.

I thought it was a good idea that google changed subjects. Like more options or choices to my visitors.

.. I agree, but only if it remains on target. My analogy sucks - but say it was a site about music, with content pages specifically for guitars, violins, keyboards; on Monday I got guitar ads, violin ads and keyboard ads, now I just get 'music' ads; which isn't great for anyone!

I'm seeing a higher epc this early, hope it's going to continue. I also notice this change.

I have also noted higher EPC this morning (50-100% higher) as well as a somewhat higher CTR today. Hopefully this means more targetted ads for me also, but I haven't actually noticed any better ads from previously.

Higher EPC and CTR here too. Let's hope it stays a while.
