Case Study: Which ad colors/sizes give the best Click Thru Rate?

I thought it would be interesting to see who is getting the best click thru rate and which ad format (size) and colors you are using.

I suppose this isn't going to be completely accurate in the sense of answering the age old question of "which ad colors/sizes are the best" since everyone uses different color schemes on there site, and they're ad's might be in different locations, but I think it will still be interesting to see.

I'll start it off...

Ever since Google allowed different ad color's and sizes I've more than doubled my click through rate with:

Ad colors: Blue link, white background (no border) with black text and url.

Ad size: Skyscraper.

Ad placement: Top right side of page.

Average daily CTR: 1.2%

suggest u take off the CTR %
Anyway rather then the colors i also think it depends a lot on the type of site u r running and how good or bad ;) your content is to make them click on ads.
