Page Imprssions not correct

For about the last 8 days, the page impressions google is reporting is about 70% more than what my stats counter is showing. Before that time period, both were within 5% of each other on the daily reports.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and should I contact google about it? Thanks.

Maybe You have now on 70% of Your pages 2 ads?

To expand on jetteroheller comments... AdSense counts ad impressions, not pageviews. If you have 2 ad blocks on page, it would count as 2 impressions, despite only 1 page view.
