HI folks I am new to the Adsense world.

I was just wondering what affect if any there is when using a link checker like XENU to check for broken links on my site.

When I ran it yesterday, I noticed it tried to access the Adsense links but permission was denied/forbidden

Will google see this and think its Spam or a robot, and I end up getting my account closed even before its started

If it is a problem, how or what can I used to check that I have no broken links on my site safely

Thanks for any info on this

Google seem to have disallowed the user agent of Xenu (and probably other link checkers) from accessing the Adsense links, in order top prevent spiders from artificially inflating stats.

So it should be nothing to worry about, as Google have already fixed it for you so the software won't affect clickthroughs at all :)

Thanks Andy

Just was not to sure if it was ok or not!

Or maybe it was only ok with certain link checkers.
