As an adsense publisher, I love Google Adsense. So Google don't get me wrong, but that's just not true that Google is very careful about who they let in.

I agree that Google is not very careful about who they accept into the program considering the amount of useless blog spam that I see. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "blog spam" - these are blogs whose sole purpose for existance is to try to get ranked in search engines for targeted keywords that have high bids.

The alternative explanation is that once a publisher gets accepted to Google, they don't really have to have their other sites approved since the approval is automatic once an inital site is approved.

For Google's sake and for the sake of the rest of us "true" bloggers, I hope that Google will take care of stopping blog spam. At least ban those spammers from the Adsense program.

Alvin - goodfind you made there and yes he must be kidding on almost every scraper site there is adsense + the redirecting problem is also mostrly from those scraper sites, so they are not looking at anything.

Well here is a thought.

Some Spams you blog and if their site is relevant to your content in some way has - OK content - why not do a 302 on them? Just make sure it states on your site that you will do so if the spam -- [hint]

Interesting, I just commented on this topic on this thread [webmasterworld.com].

The statement of quality by G is expected, but amusing to say the least.

G's balancing the public relations perception of enforcing quality advertising properties but still wanting to allow as much distribution and ultimately clicks as possible. Right now they obviously side on distribution versus more stringent quality policing.

I wonder when they will start cracking down? I suppose once they have some competition in this market. Right now, it’s a one person show.
