Making a site with AdSense, and am worried because I keep refreshing..

I'm making a site with AdSense <snip> I know, its stupid, so go ahead and tell me :), and am worried because I keep refreshing to view new changes to my site, when Google's policies say that they will see these as invalid impressions. I really don't want my site to be terminated, so what can I do?

refreshing the browser while you are testing will only boost your impressions and so long as you don't click on your ads this is not in violation of the google terms and conditions

PS...you are not allowed to post a url to your site so you are best advised to remove it before a mod bobs along and does it for you

Don't sweat it. Google pays per click, not per impression...
However, your site is live, and with very little content. I wouldn't get overly paranoid about it, but I'd be more worried about serving the ads on pages without content, than a few extra impressions you are generate while tweaking your page.

Since you are using just a handful of php pages, with content from a db... it would be incredibly easy to hold off on implementing AdSense until your site was actually completed. For the time being, you could simply replace the ad block with a table of the same size or just use the sample images from the ad format page.

heres a hint..remove your publisher id from the google code and replace it with a "" that way stats will go to no ones account.
No big deal with the TOS, ive done it before and contacted google who oked it

Unless you are racking up thousands of impressions, I wouldn't worry about it. You could remove your publisher ID while testing or disable javascript if you are worried about it.

Artificially inflating your page impressions will artificially lower your CTRs. If that messes up your statistical analyses, you might want to act on some of the earlier suggestions. (As much as possible, I always try to exclude my personal activity from any stats.)

Thanks for the replies. I think I found a solution. I made PHP do an IP check, and it says "Ad Disabled" instead of the ad if it is my IP.

Also, sorry about the URL thing...it was too late to edit once I checked post just now.
