I don't think you can delete a channel--which seems odd, but not if you think that you might want to review old stats. If you delete a channel you used to use, you wouldn't be able to do that....

If you've reached your channel limit, you can rename.

i want to delete channels too.. I think it should be an option. there have been channels that I have made where I don't care about the stats.

if you rename and use old channels, the stats will be wrong.

I don't understand why you cant delete them.

Why would you want to delete it?

What would it achieve that renaming or deactivating the channel does not?

like i said, there is leftover data in that channel if it is renamed.

plus, who wants to go through the whole stupid list of channels that I know are useless?

I sometimes go through deactivated channels to check data but i have to sift through stuff that I want GONE!

This kludge might help: Rename unwanted channels to zzz1, zzz2, zzz3, ... By making the unwanted channels appear at the end of the Inactive Custom Channels list, your sifting should be easier.

I agree that it would be nice to be able to purge old, unwanted channels entirely. But I can also see reasons why Google might not want to allow that.
