Are the earnings of a site affected by its account's history?

Hello everyone,

Is there any indication that the revenue of a particular site is affected by the history of its AdSense account and the performance of other sites under that account?

Why am I asking? There's a prospective buyer for one of our sites/domains. They don't have an AS account and would be getting a new one. Can they reasonably expect that the revenue they'll see will be in line with what we were seeing (as a channel) under our account? Or might it go up if the other sites under our account had lower CTR and EPC, or might it go down if they had higher CTR and EPC, etc.?

Has anyone had an experience of spinning off a site to a new account and then observing any changes in its revenue?

I do not believe the age of account matters as far as the EPC or percentage share-out from Google is concerned.

VERY interesting question. I could only imagine the agreement for this - since Google does not disclose percentages / can change the program at any time --- and that you have to sign up for a brand new account ....

Past performance can in no way predict future performance :)

My lawyer would have a field day with this!
