What do you guys think? Should we all send emails to google telling them to finally make direct deposits on publishers bank accounts?
If not, :-), what are your thoughts on these:
Will they ever do direct deposits? If yes, when?
Or are they just using delaware citibank because of the tax? (That's where I get my checks from - I'm not from U.S.)
As I understand, they don't have to pay as much in tax there as they would in other U.S. states.
My guess is it's just a matter of "interest". Sum up lost cheques and 1 month of approval time... probably millions of dollars in interest!
What might be nice is a google type of paypal ... but they already have trouble hiring the best & brightest so hopefully they'll just concentrate on their core competencies.
Another: How about a visa card which would give you direct access to your adsense earnings.
Another: How about merging adsense and adwords.. so I can pay with my earnings and take the balance amount.
But all this will surely kill a lot of secondary revenue.

This is would be wonderful however have you ever tried getting an offshore Dollar Visa card (I'm in the UK)?
There are so many forms to complete and so much information to provide it makes it nothing but a problem which is complete madness when I consider how much doorstep spam mail I get offering me UK Visa cards from every UK bank without any hassle whatsoever.
And what is even more annoying is that most (all?) American banks in the UK offering these cards cannot offer US Dollar Visa accounts.
Let me know if there is one.
Straight into my PayPal account would be very welcomed too or how about Google paying into a Delaware account which it sets up for us?
They have said there will be changes to the payment area of the control panel sometime very soon (ie. within days or weeks) although it sounds more like a reporting change to the payments, rather than a change to the payments format.

In certain instances, by delaying cashing a payment or two into the following tax period there are tangible income tax benefits to gain,an example is if you are on the treshold of a higher tax band rate.
To the smart guys out there, if you are in the UK you are strongly advised to declare your adsense income ( before it gets declared for you :-) ).

Yes, it has been requested many times.
As Jenstar stated, they are well aware of the demand for direct deposit for publishers.
Now it's just up to them whether they want to implement it or not (or decide the best way to do it).
I hope that everyone who got asked to take part in the recent survey mentioned Direct Deposit as something they would like to see happen!
