After 18 months of work and a few hundred articles I am producing a daily profit!

In comparision to most of you guys my revenue is petty change (my niche is very very small and the CPC is as low as you can get, but nobody in my niche does it for the money). However, my profit is enough that my fiance is actually excited about helping me make my site bigger and better (before my site was my "crazy hobby").

I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for making it possible! I couldn't of done it without you guys.

Congrats. Hopefully you'll keep working at it and we'll hear that it paid for your honeymoon or something...

This story sounds really familiar to me.
There's a snowball effect here --take it as far as you want!

Congrats! I'm in a similar position. My wife also thought my hobby site was "Crazy" until it started earning money. Now it's paying for a family holiday she's also really excited! She checks the stats more often than I do.

keep at it. Fresh content is always good for new and returning visitors, and experimenting with banner style and placement is well worth the time and effort. My ctr trebled (along with the earnings) when I moved the banner from a right of page skyscraper to a mid page rectangle.

More power to you Livenomadic. WebmasterWorld in general has been a godsend of information. I have seen ups and downs with AS as well as web marketing in general. But one of my many constants has been these forums.

Enjoy the good times. And when the bad times come just pay the cost and you will be just fine. Congrats bro!
