At the banners, there is a big hole between 468 and the 728 leaderboard.

600x would be nice

The 120 series is

125x125
120x240
120x600

Nothing between 240 and 600 height

I would like a 150 width series, where
1,2,3,4 ads are needing less height than in the 120 width series

Something like
150x100
150x200
150x300
150x400

The Adsense team should make a function that enables publishers to create their own size ads.

Please!

Let me repeat what I posted in another thread.

There is definetely a need for something between banner and leaderboard. I have plenty of space where 468X60 is too small and 728X90 is too large.

There needs to be something in the middle. Like 540 to 600 by 70 to 80 wide.

Google AdSense uses the Interactive Advertising Bureau's guidelines for ad unit sizes, the Interactive Marketing Unit (IMU) sizes. They do meet twice a year to consider new ad unit sizes, so they might ad something between the 240 and 600 height in the future.

AdSense competition, you know who, allows publishers to set their own parameters. I have a 600 x 90 with 3 ads that looks good.

Still can't see why Google doesn't allow publishers to set their own parameters. It would help to make AdSense look more unique without everyone using the same layouts.

I will never see the point of having standardized sizes for adblocks. They're often hard to fit into the layout you want. Sometimes they just throw everything out of whack.

I'm in favor of being able to adjust the size to fit perfectly. I also think there is a need for a minimum size so that the adblock's content has enough room.

Being that ads are subject to banner blindness, and god forbid 300x250 blindness it would be nice to have shapes that had curves or points on them. How about an oval or triangle.

Custom ad sizes would make it even harder for users to tell the difference between ads and directory listings or other page content.

Google needs to create fewer opportunities for "AdSense abuse," not more.
