Adsense running ads for something my article is trying to avoid

My article about splitting lanes on a motorcycle is bringing up ads for car and SUV mirrors. Now this does not give me the credability I am trying to earn. I am trying to teach people how NOT to hit mirrors when threading the needle between unaware drivers. Uggh, anything I can do (above and beyond removing ALL sites that sell mirrors and proper SEO measures like using <h1>s and <b>s on the right words?) to make those ads disappear?

PS, I tried to widget-fy it but then the post made no sense.

One of the features of adsense is that you can't choose who advertises on your site. You can block advertisers, but that isn't always a good idea (several threads about that in the recent past). I'm not sure that there's much you can do other than altering your text with a different spread of keywords. That might bring in different advertisers.

How innappropriate do you feel the ads are? I've seen a couple that I don't entirely agree with, but are at least logically targetted. The only ones I ban are the religious nutters and hopefully most of that "new and used empire state buildings" Ebay nonsense.
