Hi,

Some months ago I created a site for a female singer, I did it and leave it alone and never came back to it.
Yesterday I visited the stats and I found the site was indexed by Yahoo and Altavista and I'm getting arround 50 visits a day for organic search! :)

I'm asking here, because I put adsense on it, but it people is not clicking at ads at all and also, the ads are very bad targeted, the most targeted is one that show up and says "Buy CD From".

Now what do I do with this traffic!?
I mean, how to get some cents for it, at least to pay the hosting ...

Sign up for amazon and sell her CD's. There are also general affiliates. Try to think of something that her fans might be more interested in and become an affiliate for that.

Amazon? What Amazon?

They make the joke to have affliant programs for many different countries.

You link to Amazon.com, the visitor is from UK. Your unluck, luck for Amazon, article sold, no commission to pay.

I made for a movie a website 2001 with Amazon links.
The movie company went bankrupt, I remained unpaid
with an unfinished web site.

I did not made with this my first Amazon check in 3.5 years.

I put AdSense additional on the site, late August 2004

The site has the worst CPM, CTR, EPC of all my sites,
but at last $46 in a half year, several times more than Amazon

Amazon can perform pretty well, but entertainment sites generally don't perform well because most visitors going to that kind of sites aren't interested in buying anything.

Last December I added Amazon links to one of my sites and I earned about $70. During January the amount was already more than ten times higher..

Thanks!, I've just put some amazon links and are getting hits, still nobody buys anything yet :)

I reviewed my stats and the boost appearing on sunday, sending me 40-60 visitors each day for searches on yahoo, while previously I had no more than 10, most by typeins.

BTW, could you believe this, the site is NOT EVEN indexed by google!

Lately, I don't feel like I love google anymore.
