To top my filter complaints, I am now seeing a new behavior from Adsesnse since the start of February - it's ignoring a selected few URL filters entirely!

I know it takes three to twelve hours to typically see the filter changes kick in, but all of these are at least three DAYS old.

Can anyone confirm seeing similar behavior?
Typically I spot the blocked ads on new pages I have just recently added.

If you have more blocked URLs than they allow, you will have this problem.

Of course I can't have more than 200, their entry form will throw back an error?

It never gave an error if you'd go over the limit before (I am not sure about now). One of their fixes on the old FAQ for problems with the filter list included to check and make sure you didn't have more URLs on the filter list than you were allowed.

No my list is currently "only" 173 items.
(and if you got over, you get a red warning outline on the entry box and it refuses to save)
It's simply ignoring some filters at times. Very annoying.

Are you using the filter without a "www" before each domain name? That's the preferred method. Use:

blockedsite.com

not:

www.blockedsite.com

This way, the filter will block not only www.blockedsite.com, but also blockedsite.com and subdomain.blockedsite.com.

I've been doing adsense for just under a year now and know to use just the domain without www.
I even double-checked the hidden real url and its the same in these cases.

My best theory is that some of their ad-servers are out of sync with the filter lists by a few days, which is pretty bad. Maybe they don't even know this has happened or maybe this happens all the time and people don't spot the issue.

All I know is I am not seeing things. I could do screenshots for Google but then I'd have to prove when the filters were entered and I have no way to do that.

I am sure they have records of what is added to the URL filter and when. Have you emailed support? They are the only ones who will really know what is going on if you have done all the usual troubleshooting.
