After 7 days of testing the Rocket loader, I didn't notice, unfortunately, any difference. I turned it back ON.

@dolcevita ,

I'm happy to hear that. What is your avg Page RPM if you don't mind sharing that?

Mine is around $10.00 without RocketLoader, lower with it ON.

Turning on Rocketloader to test it again, the content does load faster with it on, but the ads load last, will post an update in about a week.

I've personally never saw a difference with Rocketloader on or off (so I leave it off now, the less CF messes with my sites the better).

I think a lot of the features that Cloudflare promotes dont really do a whole lot - Cloudflare Fonts, Early Hints, Auto Minify (deprecating in Aug) - at least I've never seen these items have an impact in any one area.

@CommandDork
If you test mobile website speed on with CF ON and OFF options:
[pagespeed.web.dev...]

then I guess you will see the difference.

I've resisted anchor ads/vignette ads and all those bells and whistles, the tiny experiments I ran generally showed poorer EPM figures even though Google focused more on the bottom number uplift.

has anyone found them to be worth it for the extra clutter they add to pages?

A lot of volatility around, Saturday lowest day for the last 4 years and Yesterday the highest since April

I was scared on the first two days of June, compared to 2023, but it was due to the fact that this year, June 1st and 2nd were a weekend. So, better since yesterday. Last year, I had a drop from June 6th that lasted almost the entire month, except for 3 days between the 20th and 30th which had been at an acceptable level. I'm holding my breath, hoping I won't have the same thing as last year. That would be a good thing for me. Currently, the total for the first 4 days is giving me the same result as the last 4 days of 2023.

With all the changes lately:
AI, moves from CPC to CPM, Core update...I managed to keep the pace as much as possible and still make ×/- $100+ a day.

Revenue is lower by about 20%-25% before the changes, but I can say that I am still satisfied. For me, Offerwall is a very important offer from Adsense, which helped me keep pace with all the drastic changes that have befallen us in the past 2-3 months.

Am I happy? Not at all. 20%-25% is not a small difference.

Am I still satisfied despite everything? Yes, when I see how much the changes have affected others. I can still pay taxes, all expenses and live on it. My SERP is not bad at all.

Future with Adsense? It scares me. Adsense is my main source of income.

Thanks @dolcevita,

going to give Offerwall a serious try, I have never had it on for more than a few hours.

Hopefully this may help some of you who have noticed a drop in earnings...

We have Vignette ads turned on and didn't realise that the frequency had changed to 10 minutes when the new feature came out at the end of last year. Have changed this from 10 mins to 2 mins and have seen a definite uptick in earnings.

Confused about the current volatilty with extrem high ans lows rarely for some sites with high 3 digit rpm

Maleda, 2 mins req means lower rpm, does more vignette views counter balance the usability with lower rpm? How changed impressions when switching from 10 min to 2 mins?

Sissi

Ad intent anchor is also good for the revenues

Trying ad intent anchor next, but when I click on a ad intent anchor, it only opens up links from my site on the panel, is this normal?

@rafraf

By decreasing the time the the ads showing, they will show more often, therefore it should increase RPM.

@rafraf we're not seeing a lower RPM quite the opposite as @allhearts has mentioned.

I already set the vignette ad frequency to 1 minute. It is logical to me that with the reduction of time, the vignette views and thus the RPM will increase.

Also, through the experiment, 1 or 2 minutes gives a better result than 5 or 10 minutes.

Ad intent links and anchors have the nostalgic feel of Ad links units. And not only that, but they also remind me of them in a certain segment. I hope that they will take care of higher page CTR and revenue in the same way, as old Ad links used to do.

I turned on "Vignette ads" a couple of days ago, and it is really making a positive difference.

I like "Vignette ads" a lot better then "Offerwall", because unlike "Offerwall", with "Vignette ads", visitors can just X out of an add easily, instead of forcing them to watch an ad to get access to the site.
