How to create an A/B testing in AdSense to change layout and ad sizes?

Hi,

I'm trying to change my webpages, in order to improve the AdSense incomes. I would like to test:
- changes in the web layout: by placing the most popular sections at the top?
- changes in the ad units: by changing sizes or responsive/non-responsive

I started with two options ('A' and 'B'), with different layout and ad units. And I created two custom channels in my AdSense account ('1234' and '5678').

So *all* the ad units of the option 'A' include (within the ad unit code):
data-ad-channel="1234"

and *all* the ad units of the option 'B' include
data-ad-channel="5678"

However, I started to monitorize the reports, and found two issues:
- the number of pageviews and impressions are not consistent. While the main 'Performance' stats of AdSense reports 13.8k pageviews and 59.3 impressions on Sunday, the report of the custom channels prompts 38k pageviews and 27.4k impressions the same day on each channel.
- I'm not able to track the performance of the Vignette ads, since the option 'A' includes more internal links that the option 'B'. And I understand that the option 'A' should receive more income through Vignette ads. How to know how many Vignette ads incomes come from 'A' or from 'B'?

I'm not sure if I'm performing the A/B testing in the right way. Should I create different 'data-ad-slot' for each ad unit? How to track the performance of the Vignette ads?

Thank you.
