Hi i m facing a problem since recently.

Earnings at risk - You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue.

Google refers this url in Google adsense dashboard. http://example.com/ads.txt (without http) and in this ads txt the publisher ID is missing.

whereas If i add with https like this with https - https://www.example.com/ads.txt i can able to get my publisher ID. which google is not crawling and getting the error again and again.. even after updating ads.txt file.. How do i rectify this problem now.. please help me.

Hope you understood my question..

Set the right ads.txt file for both your http and https site.

Now, the more interesting question is, why don't you redirect all your http requests to https ?

There might be a problem with the configuration of your site, since there is barely no reason to keep separate http and https versions of the same site.

Hi sashaholmes and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

The Googlebot is not the UA involved with your AdSense account so it is a waste of time to submit the ads.txt URL though GSC. The ads.txt file is not going be indexed. In addition, if you have not correctly implemented your 301 redirects so that you can still visit your domain at http://example.com (without https:) it is something that needs your attention.

Tip: the moment you get a feeling your adsense may be at risk, for any reason, disable it and resolve the issue. It's best not to wait for a "final decision" to decide for you.

As mentioned above Google shouldn't be finding the http version of your ads.txt on an https site. Make sure your handling of http to https is right in your htaccess file. The Apache forum is the place to get htaccess help - [webmasterworld.com...]

Please note that "at risk", doesn't mean you can loose your Adsense account, or get your site banned. The word is a bit too strong, it just means that, you might be earning less than you could, with proper ads.txt file.
