May 2022 AdSense Earnings and Observations

I noticed last month or so EPM down -10-20% comparing to last year

Just wondering,

for those of you who have seen a decrease in earnings the last month or so, has your CPC and CTR gone down?

My traffic is normal but my CPC and CTR has really gone down.

Just got a real time clawback (2 digit amount).
Is it the advertiser who claim back für whatever reason or Adsense for other mysterious reaons

Pretty much just AdSense.

My CPC is insanely low. May was low, june is dead. In over 8 years of AdSense I have never seen anything like it.

I suspect it has something to do with the last update. My main site has benefited greatly from the update. I've been getting massive traffic since launch.

If I had my standard CPC that comes from years, I would be with very high earnings...

Did Google brake the CPC so that sites do not benefit from the high gains during the installation of the last update?

Then with the update complete and finished, does G release the default CPC?

Renato : maybe, juste maybe, your "new" traffic is not qualified. They are not interested in your Ads.

@Jori - In fact the clicks are still high, but the CPC is extremely low. It's not about the quality of the traffic, it's about the CPC.

Not in my experience, or that I've ever heard of.

The last weeks of may was very bad, each day worse than the previous, as the payment plummeted.

June started with a new low point and after 6 days is 60% of May figures, so the economy is booming.
