Hi Friends,

I bought a new domain 5 to 6 months ago but forget to check its history before buying, couple of days ago I found that it was an expired domain used in 2012. Now I want to know that "how can I check whether it was using adsense or was adsense banned on it or not?"
How can I check it, because I want to attach it to my adsense account and doesn't want any harm to my adsense account.
I will really appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Best,
Andrew

It shouldn't make a difference. When you place the new ad-code on the page AdSense will evaluate the website on it's own merit.

Thank you so much for your reply, but if adsense rejects the domain, then what should I do?

If Google rejects it, it'll be because the website doesn't meet the quality standards of the AdSense program. The bar is not all that high, frankly, so if you just build a decent website you'll be probably be accepted. If not, you'll have to find other ways to monetize it.

They don't care if the domain expired in the past. Many good domains have.

If you want to know the history of the domain, run it through archive.org.

Hello andrew12 and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

You don't have to worry about whether AdSense banned the domain or not because they ban accounts, not domains. Just create your site and when you believe it has enough traffic to earn from AdSense, add your links and - good luck!
