Adsense payment delay?

It is 25 October and I still haven't received the payment yet, it has the status "payment in waiting" with the value.
But cannot click to see the details like MTCN.

I have checked my email for the past 5 years and during this time, they have sent the payment either on 21 or 22, 90% on 21, and once on 23.
This could be the first time with this delay.

21 was Thursday and 22 Friday, I'm not sure why they have this delay.

Anyone else having the same issue?

I got it on the 21st (PIP) / 22nd (MIB), but officially payment will be initiated between the 21st and the 26th, so just give it a few more days.

It seems that there is a global issue as many users are reporting the same issue [support.google.com...]

If your balance exceeds the payment threshold and you have no payment holds, you'll be issued a payment between the 21st and the 26th of the month. Note that the exact time you receive your payment will depend on your timezone, whether the 21st falls on a weekend or holiday, and your chosen form of payment.

So it's not actually an issue until the 27th. Slower than usual maybe, but no cause for concern just yet.

what is MTCN?

It's a Money Transfer Control Number that's used with Western Union transfers.

I'm surprised they still send money through Western Union, seeing as they intended to stop in early 2021 [support.google.com].
