Clawback time is here. It'll be interesting to see this month's clawback...

Has AdSense updated anyone's balance/crawlback yet?

NVM just updated. 9.5% crawl back up from 7.5% last month and less than 4-5% all previous months. Wonder how high it can go?

i had a 17% claw back previous month was 52%, so blocking datacentre IPs is improving it or perhaps it is just luck.

Holy Cow! I got my highest clawback ever. 24%. This is ridiculous. It’s increasing each month. I thought my large clawback last month was due to Facebook, but I did not promote in July at all using Facebook.

Why won’t Google give you any details on the reasons for the clawback?

This is insane! I’ve defended them for a while, but their lack of clawback transparency is irresponsible when they are removing thousands of dollars.

My crawlback is growing too. Most will say is bot clicks but earnings and traffic are the same. Yet crawlbacks are going up. I get hundreds of thousands of pageviews a month. i removed as many datacenters as possible. Blocked as many bots. its not possible without more information.

10% clawback for me. This is the highest I can remember. I would like to be cynical, but this coincides with over-inflated earnings of one specific day this month, where my earnings were about 3X my daily average. Moreover, the earnings were even more inflated the day of, but were rolled back. This is not really a surprise. Given that I have a pretty good I idea of when and why this happened, I should to do some digging in my logs to get more details.

Otherwise, it was a pretty good month, better than June. I benefited from an increase in traffic after the July update, which rolled back the drop from the June updated and set a new slow upward traffic trend.

I do not use cloudflare. I am assuming that this product is only available if you are using cloudflare.

No, as the name suggests, these earnings are estimated and subject to change. Changes can occur in real-time, when invalid clicks are rolled back immediately or can change at month end when the finalized balance is calculated. The month end deductions are reported in the payments section of your account. The month-end deductions are commonly referred to as "clawback". If you read the first few posts of this thread you can get an idea of how much is being "clawed back".

I have and I haven't noticed much of a difference other than my PageSpeed seems to be a little SLOWER. My CPC is rising, but I won't really know anything until the end of the month clawback which has been exceptionally high the past 2 months.
