Is it true you make more on Adsense with YouTube opposed to a Website?

Ive been reading different forums on youtube and it seems that if you get similar traffic on youtube compared to a blog or website you will likely make more money from youtube

One guy who has a blog on gardening and a youtube said he stopped earning money on his website because of the algorithm changes and how difficult it is to rank in search for the past several years, but then he focused on putting videos on his youtube and he was making and average of 8 thousand dollars a month he has videos that continue making money for months, while his blog was only making 50 dollars a month but he said 8 years ago his blog was making 4 thousand a month before the algorithm updates that would make it difficult to rank.

Some people said because most people are ad blind and have a basic ad blocker that is in their browser, that basic ad block doesn't block youtube in video ads.

Where when someone visits a website they have already been blind to the ads and less likely to click. Where on a youtube video they might let a preroll video ad play before skipping or they have at 15 second unskippable ad that is automatic money.

Yes. But. There is a catch. AdSense is shown on YouTube Videos whether you signed up for it or not, but IF you have subscribers and views of a sufficient number then you can earn when ads are shown. It is not automatic but if you have high enough numbers then you should be earning.

All YouTube video show ads. Not all ads earn money for the video creators.

I heard you need to get 10 thousand subscribers or is that 10 thousand views before you can put adsense on your youtube? What if you already have an adsense account for a website can you use that or do you have to sign up for a new adsense account?

There are requirements for subscribers and views, YouTube AdSense is not paying the creator automatically.

For exact facts, you can read what Google says:
