Can I combine tags of 'Ad Manager' and AdSense code in the same web?

Just starting to test Ad Manager

Hi,

One of my websites receives 1M users per month, it shows AdSense ads, and I've decided to start to test Google 'Ad Manager'. I do not know if 'Ad Manager' is for me, but I want to test the lazy load of ads, as suggested in other thread of this forum
[webmasterworld.com...]

In order to test it, I'd like to place the tags of 'Ad Manager' in one of the sections of my website, to insert ads from the AdSense network. In the rest of the sections, I will keep the existing AdSense code.

Can I do this? Is it within the Google's Terms and Conditions?

Thank you.

Yes, you can use Admanager tags aka GPT tags along with Adsense. But if you use Adsense tags as backfill/house ads for Admanager, It will not always backfill and adsense backfill impression will be counted as pageviews in adsense report, so if possible avoid using adsense code to backfill or house ads. There is an option in admanager to use adsense to backfill unfilled adunits, use it.
