Hi,

What can anybody here express about this ad service?

It requires 10,000 views for a site if I'm not mistaken, and the site must have a domain name, so paid hosting? Free blogs aren't workable with it.

I've used it for some sites for a while, can be a bit ad heavy if you are not careful but it does provide a better return than Adsense, though I need to run some more tests with the news Adsense auto ads.

They won't accept any domain with less than 10,000 page views and they use CDN caching and deliver your site via their own servers (which add the ads and privacy services)

So in comparison to adsense, adsense doesn't require that amount, but definitely the content is key.

As for the hosting, I gather that is for paid only. Blogger or what ever it is called, and wordpress that won't work with Ezoic, pretty rare even for adsense.

There is a bigger thread on Ezoic on this forum if you search. I've used them but eventually ended things. It was quite ad heavy and the claims of huge revenue increases weren't there in the long run. If I doubled or tripled the number of ads on my own I probably could have increased revenue too ;-)

I will say I get a lot more quality brand adverts with Ezoic in comparison with Adsense and my revenue increase was significant (pre-Covid)

In what way is it ad-heavy? Can't we stipulate where the ads will be shown and how many?

Ezoic function as a proxy between your sever and users. So it can modify and add HTML (Ads) into Pages.
When you use a proxy, Site speed becomes very slow.
Also ezoic tends to inject many ads.

There is a function with Ezoic to allow you to specify maximum ads per page which can be useful if you think it is too heavily loaded. Also setting it UX focused can reduce the ad load.

I have found that Ezoic's impact on site speed is less than that of Adsense.

Does anybody have spreadsheet stats to compare Ezoic vs Adsense? Is it a case of Ezoic beats Adsense every time, regardless of niche and traffic?

I'd consider it, but would ideally want a way to split-test, so some ads shown in an article are Adsense, some are Ezoic - unless they can't be both used together?
