In have a lot of US visitors online now but is 13.00 GMT , so US east coast is barely awake. I believe that most of the US campaigns are paused at night. Asia and EU (except UK) seems to be dead. European economy is in a deep coma.

Strange, my pageviews have been dropping this week. I haven't examined why, but I know there has been a lot of SERP volatility over the past 10 days. What is strange is that as my pageviews drop, my revenue is still rising. I wonder if Google is just cleaning up invalid traffic.

My CPC is super low, I got 30 thousand visits today alone because one of my articles was on Top Stories, and I got 830 clicks with a CPC of 0.06 cents :( my click thru rate or CTR was 4 percent
My earnings a whopping $44 dollars
Its been like this since mid January for me, I was shocked because this was the first time I got an article in Top Stories so I figured since its organic Traffic the CPC would be higher.

Don't think so but I could be wrong, we had one here in Ontario (Canada) yesterday but it didn't hurt my (Canadian) earnings.
One thing I have noticed of late though, as the day goes on the CPC seems to improve a bit, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Maybe the major winter storm in the U.S. these past few days affected things - schools closed, businesses closed - and Monday was President's Day. Even Texas saw freezing temps and snow. Cant even get pizza delivered from anywhere today!

One thing I tried a few days ago and thought I would share.
I added an extra ad unit to my content page, the result has been: Increased clicks, higher RPM and higher CPC from all ad units.

Does anybody have any theories as to why RPM has dropped for a lot of people? My content isn't niche, so across the board.
Are people spending less?
We've been in the pandemic for a year, so why should it be difference this month? Everything is done compared to late 2020 and this time last year, yet traffic is the same.
January report: your revenue grew by 80%. Great progress!
But I actually dropped lol.. December was so much better than January.

This year is looking very similar to 2018 for me. Adsense revenue is up 60+ percent. 2019 and 2020 were down years. 2020 horrible. My high-ranking primary keywords have all been wiped out by Google SERP updates over the past 2 years. None of them are on page 1 anymore. So, I focused on the secondary keywords and that seems to have stabilized my traffic and revenue.
