Using adsense with .shtml in an include file

I have a site using shtml I use an include file to load my menu on to all of my pages. If I put my adsense code into my menu include file will it work ok or will adsense only see the text in the include file?

You shouldn't do it that often with CF ;)

FWIW, using AdSense code in FrontPage shared borders or include files also works perfectly. (Google's MediaPartnerbot sees the page that's served, not the components used to assemble that page.)

I think that quite a few people drop ad units into their page templates, which gets them everywhere on the site very easily. I do.

I put mine into include files (#include virtual=)frequently to make them easy to change whole sections of a site at once when optimizing colors and borders.

They also work perfectly served onto a page from server side includes in exec mode(#exec cgi=) which we use to count, track and rotate banners for each call (between graphic affiliate banners, Adsense, Ads@nar, etc.)
