Are you allowed to use sticky ads from another ad network on the same page you have AdSense display ads on it is this against AdSense policies?

Thank you for letting me know. Just to confirm, you’re saying you are allowed to use sticky ads from another ad network while having AdSense display ads on the same page without issue?

You can have sticky ads from other ad-networks. A website I did some work with was and still is running sticky ads next to AdSense. I would not go so far as to say it is "allowed", as in typical AdSense vain, it would be best to regard it as not "Not Allowed". In other words they can't stop you from doing it. Is it optimal? Will there be a drop in revenue from AdSense as a result and will the added revenue of the new ads be more than (if any) the drop? It is impossible to say.

Alright, thank you for letting me know. I’ve also looked through all AdSense policies and have not found anything saying you can’t. I just wanted to confirm this here

You don’t believe I will be at risk of receiving any violations by implementing sticky ads from another ad network with pages with AdSense?

I do it, and have been doing it on multiple sites for over a year now - no issues. Even had it okayed in a recent Adsense Consultation by the publisher support specialist. I run a sticky footer ad if that matters.

As in all things, if you don't ABUSE a feature it will probably be okay.

Hello,

Be careful, Adsense is also showing top sticky ads (to selected visitors), on mobile, tablets, and now desktops sometimes. So, if this is already the spot of your own sticky ad, it be a problem, from a design/layout point of view.

@JorgeV ... I haven't done g ads in a while (actually YEARS), so please clarify. Are you saying that anyone with a ad account via g no longer has control of ad placement in their own site coding?

By default, may be since last year, I can't remember, Adsense turns ON auto ads. So, all pages with any kind of adsense code, will use the auto ads mechanism, which includes auto ads placement (anywhere on the page), sticky ads, and vignette ads.

This is by default, for everybody, including code already generated and inserted "before". (this is an example of how careful a publisher has to be, when he inserts third part javascript code, because the exernal code can always be modified, and do something else).

Then, from the dashboard, you can control on a site by site basis, which auto ads you want (or not). Then if I don't make mistake, you can also control more precisely, by setting the options with a piece of javascript. For example, in my case, when I display a "cookie banner" , I disable Adsnense's sticky ads.
