@JorgeV, most of my visitors come back daily/weekly but I believe a lot of advertisers are difficult to convince to advertise directly. Why would they pay for example a CPM of 1 dollar if they can place it somewhere for about 0.20?

I've few direct advertisers and I wish I had them continuously and not few times a year.

Monday and Tuesday my CPM was better than previous weeks and suddenly my audience is blind and yesterday and today my CPM is suddenly halved... yeah right. It's always the same: improvement than days of taking back the extra revenue.

It looks like July is going to be better than last 2 months, my niche is travel and it is getting a bit up again... Lets hope this continues...

Still -80% of last year tho

After 13 years in the adsense game it can longer provide enough full time, and I've had to get an office job. Sad, but it was a fun run.

RPM and revenue dropped to zero. Why? Web server crashed and the MS SQL master DB is corrupt. The 2nd drive where I stored DB backups failed too. My sites have been down for 13 hours and counting. So, I’m having a GREAT day,...and night with no sleep.

Ecpm is like a rock going to the bottom of the lake in July.

Fascinating to see an uptick, which is the result of some lock-downs being lifted. I suspect people are looking for opportunities for the their new found freedoms.

Now, we just needs some decent advertisers to come back.

RPM over the last couple of weeks has improved considerably, Not quite to the levels of 6 months ago but way above the very low levels seen over April and and May.

Visitor numbers are still hugely above pre-Coronavirus levels because of the nature of my site. But slowly falling from their May peak.

I don't wish this in any way at all. truthfully for my family, friends and me, but if there was a second wave of Coronavirus in the UK, the indications are that my visitor numbers would increase even further.

If there was a second wave of Coronavirus, I believe that cash (£ or $) might well become hugely devalued. Goods for daily consumption and gold would be the only commodities worth holding. Another exception for the UK would be holding government bonds (NS&I in the UK are being hyped hugely).

For me is by far the worst day this year.
I do not understand how this is possible, but I see the lowest eCPM in 2020.

CPM fell on AMP pages (and only on mobile), who has a similar problem?

I do not have AMP, but yes, on mobile now the payment is a disaster.
I now suspect that the Friday update just killed my business.

Mark my words, Alphabet will still report good figures when it comes to earnings from Adsense. It's a miracle.

It’s inexplicable for me how it’s possible that my ecpm to get halved since Thursday.

It’s like a bad horror movie, that you watch just hopping for a miracle in the end.

Not much has changed for me this month. Steadily bad. Of course, July and August are typically my worst months.

maybe my AMP code is wrong?

<amp-ad width=300 height=250
layout="responsive"
type="adsense"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxx"
data-ad-slot="1111111111">

@Casanova
maybe my AMP code is wrong?

Yes, it's possible.

I had modified the code from AS, and a few days ago, all those codes stopped working. Got new codes from AS, didn't change anything on the new code, and all got back to normal.

You know, without fail, I'll have a really decent day that boosts up the week, and then the following couple of days everything completely collapses, erasing any gains I may have made.

It's like Google says to themselves, "Hey, looks like somebody's having a good week. We'll see about that! Muahaha!"

The U.S. Economic Slowdown in the coming months is expected to be the worst on record. Great Britain is already in a recession. This does not look good.

gatormark, we're already living through historically bad times. No one will ever forget 2020. The good news is that at some point, this will end, probably when a vaccine comes along, probably next Spring. The pent up demand will jumpstart the economy. The trick is to hang on til then any way possible.

And that’s the thing that’s a little scary. As bad as things have been so far, they’re expecting things to get considerably worse.

That NPR article is also from March and predicted a terrible 2nd quarter, which happened. Beginning of the 3rd - last month - was much better than the 2nd, at least for me. So we'll see. If lockdowns don't start again, we might limp along until a vaccine arrives. The Christmas season will be interesting. EPC usually starts to increase in September, but will advertisers spend during a pandemic Christmas?

More than 10% of my earnings were deducted due to "Invalid Traffic". Is this normal? Seems worryingly high.
