If you have a Google Ad Manager account does that mean you have Adx as well or do they give Google Ad Manager accounts without Adx thanks.

AdX monetisation has to be specifically enabled on a GAM account for you to access it. That can either be done by Google if you meet their criteria and your AM thinks it will benefit you, or through a Google Channel partners (including Google Certified Publishing Partners). Working with a partner likely means that they'll manage the adx part of it and take a revenue share for that, but should come with other benefits.

It used to be something like 20m pageviews a month, but I think it is quite flexible now. Google seem to be approving more AdX accounts now. The strategy is unclear. I run a GCPP and we now get a lot of enquiries along the lines of "We have adx. we don't know what to do with it". In fairness, I remember having that exact same moment some years back, but if there isn't a clear reason for AdX I am not sure why it is being enabled.

It's worth having for sure. Whether it is worth using over AdSense will depend on your set-up and strategy. If you can get enabled for Open Bidding then the advantage is much clearer, but that now usually means paying out for GAM 360 (or working with a partner who already has it)
