Another Google Hoop to Jump Through

Google has now added something called Guided Recipes. I have a warning for over 40,000 pages on one of my sites. Who put Google in charge of recipe sites? I will not be jumping through any more hoops for Google. Since when did people become so dumbed down that they have to be guided through a recipe? We used to cook perfectly well from cookbooks without any pictures. I'm off my rant now, and that is all I'll have to say about this. It's gotten to the point of ridiculous.

Is that for schema? I mean, is that supposed to indicate whether it includes guidance for "never thought I'd be cooking" types?

@not2easy Yes, it's for schema, and it's something like that. Just something else to worry publishers and make more work for them!

What are Guided Recipes?
Guided recipes is a way to expand the reach of recipe content to voice search via Google Assistant.

Google Assistant is available on mobile devices, on smart displays, smart clocks and many more devices.

The new guided recipes feature will allow users to ask for recipes and have it read back to them with accompanying images and videos.

While this is convenient for Google Assistant users, it may result in less positive user experience for users on traditional mobile and desktop devices.
