I only very occasionally look at my ads. I wanted to look at what I had in my inventory, some going back to 2003.

However I cannot get past this infernal "Grow your earnings with Auto ads" which takes over the screen.

You either accept, or live with what already exists.

Just a passing thought.

My traffic this month has generously increased compared to say March, clicks are also up but the revenue is right down in the toilet.

Could it be Mr. AdSense says:

"If you vill [sic] not obey - then we will serve you rubbish"

No I think it is to do with:
"Tzoo many menschen are sick[covid19] - buzinesses are clozed und then we will serve you rubbish"

Might look to your browser settings (and any script killers you might have installed, and just kill that one process.

FF has an INSPECT ELEMENT function that works quite well in this regard. Delete the JS node that is in your way and proceed.

Sorry mate it is ditto in Firefox, Chrome, and Opera.

Meant to ask ... are you running any script killers? If not, they will all be the same.

Nope Can't remember Firefox, but Chrome and Opera are straight out of the box. Only add ons are an Australian Dictionary for spell checking.

Okay, thanks! I run a script killer that defeats most (if not all) pop ups. That's why I asked.
