Hi everyone , I have a lucrative youtube partner account but recently have moved from France to England , so must change bank account. I have cancelled my old adsense account and opened a new one in England. This has caused the youtube channel to come up with this message "{ are not eligible for monetization" The channel has no strikes against it and has been fine on adsense for years.
Does anyone have any advice please.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

This has to be fixed by AdSense support. Do you still have access to the old account? It is easier to get this fixed if they can see that the original account was in good standing. Try the contact options at [support.google.com...] It is important that you are logged in to the old account because the options which are presented to you in this link differ dependent on the historic AdSense earnings of the account with which you are currently logged in. If you had significant earnings--I think the threshold was $100 consistently every month over several months--you can contact AdSense support directly. Otherwise, you have to go through the peer-to-peer product forums.

Hi Phill and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

The channel is "not eligible" because the account linked to the channel was cancelled. Have you tried to reactivate that account and then go through the payment change steps? I know others here have been in the same situation. Google has their account policies that make such changes difficult, but more like "impossible" to close one and open another.

Google won't transfer the account from France to England because of currency and tax differences (Brexit). Transfers between countries in mainland Europe would probably have been possible.

Unfortunately, google instructions say delete the French account then start a new English account as International changes can't be made on the old account that I no longer have access to. Many thanks for your reply :)

I know that they say it. I have been through the same moving to another country and not able to get sites activated again. But in that case, I had still the old account and managed to get hold of a representative through their on-line channel who fixed it relatively fast. The product forums are another story though. I guess about 95% of the requests bounce off the layer of volunteers there without ever reaching a Googler.
