Is Framing cheating you out of your Advertising income?

If you do a search in AskJeeves.com, they will put your site in a frame, and substitue YOUR adsense ads with theirs, robbing your adsense income in the process.

What's your opinion?

AskJeeves doesn't replace the AdSense code when they frame sites. All clicks and impressions on AJ-framed pages will be credited to your account.

No one is cheated out of any revenue due to the frames. We had a lengthy discussion about it last year here:

Ok, am I missing something? I just tried this for one of my sites and sure enough the Google Ad is replaced by one that has AskJeeves as the referring url when you put your mouse over the Ads by Goooooogle link. So, I see why one might think that AskJeeves is getting credit for clicks.

I see in the previous discussion they are talking about adding some code to your site to break the frames. Is that necessary?

It will show the referring link as AskJeeves, but if you check the publisher ID, it will be the site owner's pub ID number.

I have to disagrre with Jenstar, I typed my job hunting related domain name in askjeeves, when I click on my domain name in askjeeves results, all my job related adsense ads are replaced by ask jeeves ads:

such as:

Search for Ask Jeeves?

Ask Jeeves Stock Research

etc.

Besides, my unique adsense color, layout are replaced by their default settings, with blue border, white background.

They still use my pub id, but they changed the layout and content of ads. So in a way they ARE stealing from me.

I either need to break out frame, or use frame option in adsense settings.
