My Adsense Experiment Won't Stop Running

I shut down an experiment but it won't stop running

Hey all. Ya know those experiments that Adsense offers from time to time? I chose to go through with one to see what ads would look like if I pretty much gave them control over what to put where I had ad code. I've come to the conclusion that the ads are way too big - and I'm not seeing any benefit. This morning, after about a month, I decided to cancel the experiment - but the huge ads are still running.

Do I need to wait a certain amount of time before my old ads start showing up again? Or is there something I need to do that I'm just not aware of? I'd like to get my sites back to looking the way I intended again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Give it time. At 72 hours!

The web is quick, but not THAT quick. :)

Certainly pitch a fit if the experiment does not end after seven days.

You might need to disable the ad type that is showing there and ensure that your ad code is for the type of ad you do want to show.

I didn't change anything as far as the code goes on my website... Not sure what you mean...

When you turned on the experiments there may have been a change made to those settings. If you have not checked, I would look there first. In your AdSense account, not on your site.

I haven't done adsense in years ... but I do try to keep up. Seems to me that g rolled out some changes to their ad servicing and some ad types were dropped, some where promoted, and some folks were unhappy with both!
